10+ years training military families, 10 minutes from post. Programs for the whole family and memberships built around your schedule.

Built for military families.

Find your gym. Find your people.

You'll find us on Faichney Drive in Watertown. The programs and the schedule are built around the whole family, and you'll see that the moment you walk in.

Active duty service members get 20% off, and memberships come in 3, 6, or 12-month terms so you can match the gym to your time at Drum.

Youth programs run alongside adult training, so your kids and your spouse can be on the mat the same night. For families that PCS frequently, having one place that fits everyone is one less thing to figure out.

Every skill level. One culture.

Serious training. Everyone welcome.

Some people walk in having never thrown a punch. Others show up with years of training behind them. Beginners learn real technique from day one, and experienced martial artists keep getting pushed.

Culture here matters as much as the training. We've built an environment where anyone can walk in, train hard, and belong.

Our head coaches hold black belts across several disciplines, with decades of training and coaching between them.

BANG Muay Thai Striking system. Five black belts on staff.

At ATT Watertown, five coaches hold black belts in the BANG Muay Thai system. BANG is a striking system created by Duane "Bang" Ludwig that combines Dutch Kickboxing and Muay Thai. It's been refined for two decades in top-level competition and taught in schools around the world.

You progress through structured levels of striking technique, from your first kick to competition prep. Beginners and competitors train under the same curriculum, with coaches who've taught both.

All levels welcome
Boxing Mon + Wed, 6 PM. BANG black belt Coach Joee.

Boxing runs Monday and Wednesday at 6 PM, and it's all about your hands: footwork, head movement, defense, and combinations. Coach Joee, a black belt in the BANG striking system, mixes in elements of BANG Muay Thai, so everything you sharpen here carries straight into the rest of your striking.

It's a great fit if you want better hands for Muay Thai or MMA, or if you simply want to box. First time putting on gloves? You'll learn stance and fundamentals on day one.

Mon + Wed · 6:00 PM
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Six days a week, gi and no-gi. Black belt Coach Rick.

BJJ runs six days a week, Monday through Saturday, both gi and no-gi. Coach Rick leads BJJ and our BANG Muay Thai program. One head coach across both flagship programs, by design. He earned his black belt under Paul Elliot, ATT Watertown's previous head coach, so the technique you'll learn today comes from the same lineage we've been teaching for years.

Every class is beginner-friendly, with an advanced track for members pushing toward competition. Whether you're stepping on the mat for the first time, training to compete, or looking for the most practical self-defense system that exists, the coaching meets you where you are.

Mon-Sat · gi + no-gi
Women's BJJ Tue + Thu, 5 PM. Coach Rachel.

Tuesday and Thursday at 5 PM, included in every membership. Coach Rachel runs a dedicated women's class with the same quality of instruction and hands-on coaching you'd get on the main mat, in a training environment built for women learning BJJ seriously.

If you're a mom with a kid in our Lil Ninjas 8 to 15 program, the timing lines up: your kid is on the mat next door from 5 to 5:45 PM. Same building, same nights.

Tue + Thu · 5:00 PM
Lil Ninjas Kids striking. Ages 4 to 7 + 8 to 15.

Lil Ninjas runs Tuesday and Thursday in two age groups. Ages 4 to 7 train from 4:00 to 4:45 PM. Ages 8 to 15 train from 5:00 to 5:45 PM. Both groups learn the same BANG Muay Thai system the adults train, led by our multiple black belt instructors. Scaled for age, built on real technique.

The belt progression lets your kid see and feel their progress. Coordination, balance, self-defense: physical skills that translate. So do the social skills: showing up on time, listening, working with a partner who isn't a sibling, losing without melting down. For families that PCS, structured activity in the first week of a new station is one of the fastest ways to help kids land.

Tue + Thu · 4 PM & 5 PM
Youth Jiu Jitsu Ages 8 to 15. Mon, Wed, Fri at 5 PM.

Classes cover both gi and no-gi, so your kid learns the complete game from the start. Multiple coaches work the mat every class, and progress is easy to see through the traditional youth belt system: white, grey, yellow, orange, green.

Discipline is built in from day one: showing up on time, listening, and putting in the work. The self-defense is practical and controlled, teaching young athletes to stay calm under pressure and handle themselves safely. For those who catch the competition bug, there's a clear path to tournaments and a team to train with. Wherever your family ships out next, those skills travel with them.

Mon, Wed, Fri · 5:00 PM
Cardio Kickboxing 45 min. High energy, heavy bags.

Every round builds power, endurance, and coordination while burning serious calories. Come in at any fitness level and leave drenched, knowing you earned it. A great fit for spouses, active duty looking to mix up their PT, and anyone who wants a workout with real intensity.

Common questions

Common questions, straight answers.

We might only be here for two or three years.
Most military families at ATT are on the same timeline. We offer 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month membership options, so you can match your commitment to your duty station window. No one's locking you into something that outlasts your orders.
What if I deploy mid-membership, or get sent to the field?
We freeze your membership for free. No fees, no penalty, no clock. Same goes for leave or extended field time. When you're back, you pick up where you left off. That flexibility is built into how the gym works because most of our members are on military timelines.
I've never trained martial arts before.
Plenty of people who walk through our door have zero martial arts experience. The BANG Muay Thai system is designed for progression from day one, and BJJ fundamentals start at the basics. You don't need experience to start. You need a first class.
I'm not sure my kids will stick with it.
Book a trial class and let them try it. Kids who PCS a lot are used to adapting, and a structured martial arts class gives them something consistent to hold onto while everything else changes. Once kids get a taste of the structure and the team, they tend to want to come back.
What do I bring to my first class?
Comfortable workout clothes you can move in. For striking classes, please wear a white shirt: in the BANG Muay Thai system, shirt color shows your rank. We have gloves and gear you can borrow for your first class. If you stick around, we'll point you toward the basics to pick up on your own time.
